🧠 European Momentum Towards AI Champions
Europe has momentum. We felt it on the ground at our London AI Hack last weekend and Slush of course, but the EU AI Champions Initiative is finally translating that energy into €150b of financial tailwind. It bridges the gap between the gold mine of industrial data in Europe and our standout scale-ups. This is a massive signal that corporate players want in - bringing both the funding and, more importantly, the customer base to actually build things. In case you need another sign to build something in Europe, this is a strong one.

🇪🇺 What’s going on in Europe
The theme of this year’s State of European Tech Report revolved around that Europe seems to be on an upswing. Valuations are rising to almost $4t, the overall mood is swinging back to optimistic and funding levels are slowly growing again. Most importantly, though, the number of unique founders is rapidly increasing, up 59% compared to 2023, leading even over the US. The mission to build something out of Europe is also resonating with European founders and potentially convinces the majority to stay instead of leaving for the US.
Peec AI - one of Europe’s standout players when it comes to growth - have raised their $21m Series A to further boosting brand visibility in AI search. They will also be hiring for 40+ roles. Go check them out if you want to join one of the most ambitious teams in Europe and soon the US!
Berlin, Bonn and Munich based LogisticaOS emerged out of stealth with a €1.5m seed round, backed by NAP, daphni and others. The team of former DHL and Chocco operators is tackling the admin headaches in logistics. They are hiring founding engineers as well.
✨ Dify is coming to Berlin
If you’re interested in how agentic AI is being applied in real enterprise environments, Dify and VIER are hosting a session in Berlin that may be worth checking out.
Dify will be discussing practical approaches to building production-ready agentic workflows, along with insights from VIER on the future of conversational agents in customer service. It’s a good opportunity to meet people in the community and explore where intelligent automation is heading.
